David Marley

​

CEO & Managing Director

David has over 30 years’ experience working within the IT and financial sector. As the IT Director & Partner of a large U.K. based Qualified Intermediary he first experienced the intricacies of Chapter 3 regulations in 2003 and in 2005 went on to design a W-8 and W-9 online documentation solution for U.S. Withholding. He joined Deloitte in 2006 taking his IP with him for this newly created product, he left three years later and started his own company, Comply Exchange.

 

David continues to drive Comply Exchange forward having designed much of the functionality the company provides today. With the increased team size and a growing business, David now focuses on the company’s expansion and overall strategy, but still likes to maintain a hands-on approach.

Jessica Metts

​

Director of Client Services and

Chief Customer Officer

Jessica has over 8 years of experience in U.S. federal withholding and information reporting requirements. Prior to Comply, she worked in both the Global Information Reporting Practice and R&D Tax Credit Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), focusing on assisting clients with their information reporting and withholding requirements under both Chapters 3 and 4 of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

She is well versed in meeting client demands and both building and maintaining client relationships. Jessica is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (BS in Accounting) and College of Charleston (MS in Accounting).

Colin Brien 

 

Chief Growth Officer

Colin is an information reporting and withholding tax specialist with 17 years of public accounting experience. He focuses on U.S. reporting and withholding (i.e. Forms 1099 and backup withholding), Non-Resident Alien reporting and withholding (i.e., Forms 1042-S and NRA withholding), the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ("FATCA") and the Common Reporting Standards ("CRS"). 

 

Colin's experience has allowed him to work with numerous clients across all industries in advisory and compliance roles. He focuses on efficient and cost-effective solutions by developing flexible operational practices that adhere to the ever-changing tax technical information reporting rules.

Colin received a BS in History from James Madison University, a JD from Quinnipiac School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University.

Lauren Pierce

​

Tax Operations Specialist

Lauren has over 13 years of experience in U.S. Information Reporting and Withholding. Prior to joining Comply, she worked in the Global Information Reporting and Withholding Practice at Deloitte, advising a variety of clients, including major financial institutions and multinational corporations, on Chapter 3, Chapter 61, FATCA, and CRS regulations.

 

She also focused on documentation review and remediation, procedure enhancements, and reporting, including FATCA, CRS, 1099, 1042, and FBAR. Lauren is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT (BS in Accounting).

Oliver Allen-Wielebnowski

UK Manager and Application Specialist

Oliver joined the team in early 2018. Holding a BSC (Hons) in Computing and equipped with over a decade of experience in technology-based jobs, Oliver started his journey at Comply by rigorously testing and learning the whole suite of applications Comply has to offer.

 

This role helped him build up an excellent understanding of the product and subject matter, and led him to contribute across multiple departments within the company, including training, writing new developments, both on and off-site client implementation and configuration, and also helping to recruit to further develop and solidify the excellent UK team we have today.

Evelyn Wright

​

Video Production & Digital

Marketing Specialist

Evelyn graduated from The University of West London with a BA in Film Production. She has previously worked as a freelance video editor for a variety of social media companies and has also had a piece of her work premiered at the Prince Charles Theatre in Leicester Square in London! 

 

At Comply Exchange, she heads up the video production team working on promotional videos, creating engaging tax-related content for Comply Pro. She also works alongside Tye to plan and implement digital marketing strategies across our product suite.

Antony Herbert

Application Specialist

Antony is based in the U.K. office and is responsible for troubleshooting and testing the Comply Exchange system, as well as managing all web content. To ensure that the clients are always happy and getting the best out of their packages, he must monitor the systems ensuring that they are running smoothly and correctly.  Previously, Antony worked as a customer advisor for Lloyds Banking Group.

Tye Burroughs

Video Production & Digital

Marketing Specialist

Tye is a graduate from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge School of Art, where he studied film and television production specialising in video editing. With four years of filmmaking experience he has worked on countless student projects ranging from short dramas to documentaries. He’s created a variety of different promotional material for small businesses and charities and was keen to continue in this career path. Located in the U.K. offices. He works closely with Evelyn Wright on the training and development videos for Comply Pro and also plays a key role with promotional videos and content for the Comply Exchange suite. Alongside this, he also works closely with Evelyn to plan and implement our digital marketing campaigns.
